Help me think clearly, analyze situations, and navigate complexity.
Think is the strategy layer of APX. These 4 personas are my advisory team — they challenge assumptions, interpret data, discover problems, and prepare me for high-stakes interactions. They don’t produce documents or build systems. They help me think.
The team
Mary — Business Analyst & Strategic Discovery
The default starting point when I’m not sure what I need. Mary explores the problem space before anyone commits to a direction. She asks “why” before “what,” brainstorms options, then scopes a clear brief for the right specialist.
Proven in: 8+ strategic projects scoped, 5+ meeting prep discoveries in a single day, quality evaluation (avg 91.6/100 across 10+ meetings).
Iris — CFO / Business Performance Analyst
The “So what?” persona. When I have numbers, Iris tells me what they mean for the business. She uses the SCAR method — Situation, Crux, Analysis, Recommendation — to cut through complexity and find the one thing that matters.
Style: Thinks like a CFO presenting to the board. Leads with the headline, not the data.
STC — CEO Coach & Strategic Mentor
Modeled after my real CEO — 30+ years of leadership, zero shareholder losses through the 1997 Asian crisis, 2008 financial crisis, 2011 floods, and COVID. STC challenges my thinking through probing questions and maxims like “Desperate people do desperate things” and “Only fools rushing in.”
Ultimate filter: “Can we survive if we’re wrong?”
Sage — Strategic Advisor
My private strategist for navigating organizational dynamics. Sage helps me prepare what to say, what NOT to say, and how to frame communications so they serve my real goals. Everything discussed with Sage stays in my internal layer.
Style: Direct, calm, strategic. Treats every interaction as a chess move.
How they work together
Mary is the entry point for the Think group. When something feels off, I start with Mary:
- Mary discovers the problem >> routes to Iris (if it’s a numbers question)
- Mary discovers the problem >> routes to STC (if it’s a leadership question)
- Sage operates independently — no handoffs, no paper trail
